Stanbic Uganda Cup: Express, Ndejje University Propel as R32 Bends

Ndejje University FC 4-0 Blue Star FC

Express, Police, Ndejje University, Adjumani, and Calvary booked their slots in the Round of 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Sunday.

Express edged Lugazi at Luzira thanks to Allan Kayiwa’s penalty in the 25th minute. Abdul Nsereko’s 45th-minute goal was enough for Police FC to go past Pajule Lions in Pader. 

The Mayuni boys, are on course of looking for the 11th cup, the title they last won in 2007.

Elias Asiimwe, Vincent Abigaba, Wasswa, and Luzige scored in the 13th, 17th, 62nd, and 80th minutes respectively as Ndejje University thrashed Blue Star at Bombo.

The final game of the Round of 32 will be played tomorrow between KCCA and Kataka at Mbale Stadium.
