FWSL: Jamirah Finds A New Club Ending Stint at Tooro Queens
Kampala Queens’ business in the transfer market seems far from over, as the club continue to make moves for players to improve their competitiveness in the 2022/23 FUFA Women Super League (FWSL).
The Kabojja-based side Kampala Queens have, on the morning of Wednesday 21st, September 2022, announced the arrival of Nabulime Jamira from the relagated Tooro Queens, formal statements on the club’s social media platforms can confirm.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of defender, Nabulime Jamirah from Tooro Queens. Welcome to the Palace,” the statement said.
Jamirah joins the Kampala Queens who are aiming to encourage and build more competition in the team, which they believe will improve their chances of winning games.
Jamirah should, however, be ready for the competition especally seeking a starting berth in the defence line that already has got the experienced Sumaya Komutale, Asia Nakibuuka and Lukia.
She (Jamirah) joins the long list of talented players at the Kampala Queens like Daisy Nakaziro, Hasifa Nassuna, Sumaya Kumutale, Asia Nakibuuka,Teddy Najjuma, Grace Aluka among others.
The ‘Palace’, as the Kampala Queens are best known to fans, opened their 2022-2023 FWSL journey on a high note, after thrashing Asubo Gafford Ladies 5-0 at IUIU playground.
