Women Football: She Corporate Announces Traveling Squad for CAF Zonal Qualifiers

The Uganda’s representatives in the Confederation of African Football Women’s Champions League Zonal qualifiers, She Corporate FC have announced their final traveling squad to Tanzania. 

The squad was announced on Thursday morning ahead of evening departure to Dar es Salaam Tanzania.

The squad of 21 players is comprising of three goalkeepers, seven defenders, five midfielders and six forwards. 

According to team’s communication officer, Mivule Ismail, the team shall be departing to Dar es Salaam at 4:30PM on Thursday, 10th August, 2022.

This is the first time She Corporate is representing the country at the continental level.

The Sharks were pitted in group A against the host’s team, Simba Queens,  GRFC from Djibouti, and Yei Joint stars from South Sudan.

To qualify to final CAF women’s champions league, She Corporate needs to lift the CECAFA region trophy.

Lady Doves is the last side to represent Uganda but finished third.

Daphine Nyayenga, Nankya Zahara, Matovu Fatuma

Defenders: 

Nakato Amina, Nakate Cissy, Banura Phoebe, Musibika Stella, Nkomba Swabra, Namirimu Margret and Arinda Anitah.

Midfielders:

Nabbumba Phiona, Naume Nagadya, Cissy Nantongo, Naluyimba Esther, Nabbale Winnie.

Forwards:

Nambatya Favour, Namata Anitah, Nakasi Jackline, Namiiro Noelline, Ainembabazi Joan and Nakacwa Spencer.
