Your Operations are Not Clear, Gov’t Cancels Licenses of Eight labour Export Companies
The government of Uganda through Ministry of Internal Affairs has cancelled the licenses of eight labor export companies basing on a number issues.
While addressing media today in Kampala, Agnes Igoye, Deputy National Coordinator for Prevention of Trafficking of Persons in Ministry of Internal Affairs revealed this news.
Igoye says that they got complaints from Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development and added that they also found out that some of these companies are using forged documents which is against the laws of the land.
The companies that lost their working licenses include; Middle East Consultants Limited, Elite Placement Consulting – Kitintale, Eagle Supervision Limited, Ridars Uganda Limited, Al Saudi Agency Limited, Forbes Enterprise, Fly International Jobs, HBM International Recruitment, Sahara Recruitment Limited and Top Notch Recruitment Services Limited.
Igoye asked Ugandans not to continue to deal with these companies because now they no longer have licenses.
Currently the main export of Uganda is the labour especially heading to Middle East but a number Ugandans have been heard of these companies and their foreign bosses violeting their rights.
