Rays of Grace Academy and Msingi Soccer Academy kick-started their journey in the inaugural Uganda Youth Football Associations U15 Inter Academies League with high victories over Buwate Soccer Academy and Raising Stars Talent Academy on Thursday 18th May 2023 at Ntenjeru Ssaza Ground.
In the opening game, Msingi Soccer Academy defeated Buwate Soccer Academy by 5-0 scoreline.
In their first game, Rays of Grace Academy defeated Raising Stars Talent Academy by 4-0 score line. Frank Ssekanjako, Eric Isabirye and a brace from Disan Mwebe meant the Kirugu based Institution registered their first victory in the new Inter-Academy league.
In their second game, the Kirugu based Academy in Rays of Grace Academy thrashed Buwate Soccer Academy by 5-0 score line. Disan Mwebe bagged a hattrick while Frank Ssekanjako and Eric Isabirye each netted a goal to register their second victory.
In the last game, Msingi Soccer Academy registered a hard fought win over Raising Stars Talent Academy by 1-0 score line.
Action in the sub region will be played next week and Raising Stars Talent Academy will play hosts at Nagalama Primary School Grounds.
For starters, the Inaugural UYFA U15 Inter Academies league final phase will be hosted by Luweero sub region in the first week of September 2023.
