USSSA Wakiso Region Qualifiers: Players to Get Free First Aid Services, Girls’ Football Draws Held

Wakiso Region schools championship gets medical insurance for 2024. 

Two days to the championship kick off, Wakiso Region schools committee got in partnership with Musa Orthopedic centre. 

The partnership shall see Musa Orthopedic Centre that’s located at Sunset Arcade, Wilson Road in Kampala and Mpigi Town Council along Kalagala road, giving  medical care to all players’ injuries at a free charges during Wakiso Region schools football championship. 

The great news was disclosed at the championship draws held at Wakisha Research Center on Friday 5th April 2024. 

During his Remarks Musa Orthopedic service director Musa Mukasa asserted that; “There is no way you can find difference between football and Orthopedic, football players use bones, muscles and ligaments all of those are catered for by Orthopedic, we are here to take care of injuries for free as we look to improve the game of football, we don’t want more worries about injuries, some parents have been at a point of refusing their kids from playing football due to fear of Injuries” 

The news came in as a surprise to Wakiso District Secondary Schools sports association members and left the meeting venue in Joyful way. 

However before receiving the enticing news, the committee first held the draws for girls;
