USSSA Ball Games II Zonal Qualifiers: Kampala Region Netball, Volleyball Action Commences

The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association zonal qualifiers for Ball Games II 2024 are nearing climax.
Kampala Region hosted their qualifiers for Netball and volleyball boys and girls at Kibuli SS and at least 30 teams featured in the tournament that started on Thursday.
Schools presented 15 teams for netball that were pitted in four groups of four teams and three. Volleyball boys had seven teams and girls teams were eight.
“We started last week on Saturday with under sixteen boys football, we played upto semifinals and Tomorrow, they will be played, today we have netball and volleyball where we registered 15 teams in netball and 15 teams in volleyball, eight girls teams and seven teams for boys. We expect to have our climax tomorrow with all the games we have played this term.” Said the Chairman organising committee Kampala Region, Ssentongo Abbey
According to Ssentongo, in USSSA ball games II 2024 edition that will be held between 9th and 18th July at Teso College Aloet Soroti, Kampala Region will be represented by four teams in netball, four teams in volleyball girls, four teams in volleyball boys, two boys teams for football under sixteen, three teams in football girls.
In netball category, Baptist High School and the hosts Kibuli SS looked very exceptional, won all their group stage games.
The Kampala Regional games shall climax tomorrow on Friday and all games shall be at Kibuli SS.
