USSSA Qualifiers: St Mark,Kalemba, Two others To Represent Kayunga in Greater Mukono Zonal Action
The USSSA Kayunga District qualifiers of the 2024 have climaxed on Thursday 4th, April 2024 and the final list of the four (4) teams to represent the district is now complete.
The final list has only one team which was not there last year (2023) and that is Mt Carmel High School from Kyerima, Bbaale Constituency. The other Schools are St Mark High School, St Mathias Kalemba SS and Namagabi SS.

Namagabi SS, St Mathias Kalemba SS and Busaana SS were pitted in group A and their games were played at Ndeeba Church of Uganda well as St Mark High School, Mt Carmel High School and Ndeeba SS (group B) battled it out at Lion of Judah.
Namagabi topped group A with four (4) points defeating St Mathias Kalemba by 1-0 score line before sharing spoils (2-2) with Busaana SS in the final group game.

St Mathias Kalemba finished in the second position after defeating Busaana SS by 3-0 score line.
In group B at Lion of Judah, St Mark High School shared points in a one all draw with Mt Carmel High School before registering the needed win over Ndeeba SS by 1-0 score line to advance to semi finals.
The other group game between Mt Carmel High School and Ndeeba SS ended in a two all draw (2-2) giving St Mark High School and Mt Carmel High School green lights to greater Mukono zonals.

In the semi finals, St Mathias Kalemba defeated St Mark High School by 1-0 to advance to the finals in a tight and tense match played at Lion of Judah.
Elsewhere, Namagabi SS defeated Mt Carmel High School by 2-1 to earn a slot to finals.
The finals will be on Monday 8th, April 2024 at Ntenjeru Ssaza Ground.
Four Schools from Kayunga (Namagabi, St Mathias Kalemba, St Mark and Mt Carmel High School) will represent Kayunga District on Zonal Qualifiers.

Buikwe who the hosts of this year’s Boys qualifiers will be represented by champions, Mehta SS, Rehaboth Integrated School, Quality High School and Lugazi Homeland School.
Mukono District will have the highest number of Schools and will be represented by Mukono Kings High School, St Julian High School, Dynamic SS, Vision for Africa Nakifuma, Central College Kabimbiri, Mukono High School, St John’s High School Kauga and Mpoma Royal College.

St John’s High School Kauga and Mpoma Royal College replaced Seeta High School Mbalala and Latifah Mixed Secondary School who were discontinued from the 2024 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association.
Greater Mukono Zone was allocated Three (3) slots at the 2024 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association finals which will be hosted by Masaka SS
