The 2022 USSSA National Post Primaries Boys Football have reached semifinals and Four (4) School will be battling for two (2) slots in the finals on Thursday 28th April afternoon at Barifa stadium in Arua City
Defending champions, St Mary`s Secondary School Kitende and all time winners in Kibuli Secondary School will face off in the opening semifinal match in the afternoon with kick off at 1:30PM before two time winners, Buddo Secondary School (2018 & 2009) take on St Andrew Kaggwa Gombe High School at 4:00PM.
To reach this stage, St Mary`s Secondary School Kitende ejected Mukono Kings High School by 4-0 score line. Goals from Elvis Ngonde, Rogers Torach Ochaki and a brace from Habib Mubiru guided Kitende into the final four.
Kibuli Secondary School eliminated hosts, Mvara Secondary School by 3-1 score line. Faizo Wabyoona, Dominic Ayella and exciting Edrine Ewachigui.
Emuron Recoba coached side, Kibuli Secondary School progress to semifinal since 2017 when they eliminated hosts in Masaka Secondary School in penalty shoots.
They were ejected by St Mary`s Secondary School Kitende in the semifinals on 2-0 score line. Frank Zzaga Tumwesigye and Paddy Agama scored the two goals.
Buddo Secondary School eliminated Kawempe Muslim in a tight contest by a 1-0 scored by their (Buddo SS) team captain, Innocent Media Ronald.
Elsewhere, Oscar Mawa netted the all-important goal to guide his side, St Andrew Kaggwa Gombe High School to table of men as the side qualified to East Africa for the first time in history.
In the tie between Buddo SS and St Andrew Kaggwa Gombe High will be a revenge on the side of Ivan Kilyoowa Mato side who felt cheated in group E contest where Buddo won by 1-0 score line.
