UPL: KCCA FC Unveils 2025/26 Squad and Shirt Numbers

Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) has confirmed its squad and shirt numbers for the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League campaign. The announcement was made on Monday, 22nd September, with the 13-time league champions also unveiling seven new signings.
Among the arrivals are goalkeeper Charles Lukwago, who returns to the club, Alpha Thierry Ssali, Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Rogers Mugisha, Lazaro Muhindo, Herbert Achayi, and Enock Walusimbi.
The shirt allocations saw Achayi take up jersey number 2, while Lukwago has been handed his old favorite, number 12. Defender Walusimbi will don 15, and Mugisha inherits the number 14 shirt vacated by Bright Anukani. Rising midfielder Ssali has been given the iconic number 8, while Ahimbisibwe takes 11. Brazilian import Joao Esteves Cardoso Gabriel will wear number 7, previously associated with former captain Julius Poloto, now at UPPC FC.
Under the guidance of co-coaches Brian Ssenyondo and Jackson Magera, the Kasasiro Boys are eager to bounce back from recent frustrations and end their league title drought. They kick off their campaign away to Kitara FC on Friday, 26th September.
