Uganda Decides 2021: Museveni Set Off To Apac, Urges NRM Supporters Not To Tempt COVID

Unlike his opponents in the race of whom to take the big seat in Uganda after 2021 general Elections, Museveni urged NRM and his supporters not to crowd along the way.

Museveni who started his general campaigns in Luweero, where he met the National Resistance Movement local leaders, has continued with his scientific campaigns to Apac.

Before setting off, Museveni via his twitter handle, he asked his supporters not to tempt the COVID-19 pandemic, they should stay safe at home because the message shall reach at them scientifically.

The commitment to all our supporters is that we shall bring the message to you, but safely. Stay safe, do not tempt the pandemic. Here, I am leaving Balarege (a former stronghold of the LRA) in Otuke to Apac for our next schedule. #SecuringYourFuture” Museveni tweeted before adding

Schedule for Day Three of our campaign. I will meet @NRMOnline
leaders in Apac and conduct a radio address for Lango sub-region.

Campaigns are still moving on until 12th January 2021, and the Museveni’s opponents are still attracting crowds on their rallies, especially Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert of National Unity Platform and Patrick Oboi Amuriat of FDC.
