SUPL: Odoch’s Express FC Targets Maximum Points Over URA FC
After a 2-0 loss to Vipers SC in the last game, Obua’s URA FC are facing wounded Express FC this evening in Lugazi.
Despite playing beautiful football, Obua’s side have failed to get good results, they shared spoils with Kitara in a 2-2 draw at home before losing 2-0 to defending champions Vipers.
Express FC are coming in this fixture after losing 1-0 to Maroons at home and it was their first league loss this season.
In the last three away games, Express FC have failed to win a single game, giving URA FC an upper hand to beat James Odoch’s side.
In 22 league meetings, URA have won eight times, lost five and drawn nine. Last season, URA won one game and Express also edged the Tax Collectors once however, URA’s win was at home just like today.
URA FC head coach David Obua emphasized on playing beautiful football to get results.
“We want URA FC have many fans, they must come and enjoy the display of football. I want my team to build from behind, be confident and calm with the ball and with time, results will come.” Said Obua.
Speaking to the media via the club’s social platforms, Express FC’s head coach James Odoch, expects a tough encounter.
“We have prepared the boy enough to overcome the opponents, we have gone three games minus winning but we must do our best to overcome URA FC. I know they’re also looking for a win but its also our goal today. We pray that we play under good weather because a slippery pitch damages our style of play.” Said Odoch
Express FC welcomes Ramsey Kawooya who is available for selection after sitting out against Maroons after late arrival from National team and Isma Kawawulo returns from three-yellow card suspension.
URA have former Express captain Enock Walusimbi back from suspension while Youngsters John Innocent Kisolo and Denis Kisiriko are with U18 at CECAFA in Kenya.
