Stanbic Uganda Cup: R16 Draws Held, Defending Champions Pitted Against Mbale Heroes

The Round of sixteen draws of the 2021 Stanbic Uganda Cup edition held at FUFA House Mengo on Thursday morning.

The 2019 winners, Proline FC are pitted against Big league side, Mbale Heroes.

According to draw, Proline FC will host Mbale Heroes first before a long trip to Mbale Municipal Stadium.

The draws which we hugely conducted by Express FC legends in Andrew Lule and Fred Tamale, saw Vipers SC visiting UPDF FC at Bombo Barracks while Onduparaka will be at home at Ababet Greenlight Stadium hosting Sports Club Villa in the first leg.

Wakiso Giants, Tooro United will face off while Police FC will try to arrest Soltilo Bright Stars at MTN Omondi Stadium in first leg.

In the other draws, Express FC at Wankulukuku will be hosting on form URA FC. It’s expected to be a sweet revenge for the tax collectors because in league, the Red Eagles completed a double against them.

The round of sixteen fixtures will be played between 1st and 6th May 2021 and it will be on a home and away basis.

Statistically, round of 32 ended when their are 82 goals scored.

31. Kitara vs Kigezi round of 32 shall take place on 29th April at Kavumba
