Stanbic Uganda Cup Quarterfinal Draws: KCCA in a Tricky Lane of Bright Stars

The Quarterfinal draws for Stanbic Uganda Cup, 2023 edition have been held on Wednesday, 22nd March 2023 at FUFA Complex Mengo.

The record Champions, KCCA FC have been pitted against fellow StarTimes Uganda Premier League side Soltilo Bright Stars in this year’s Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter-final.

Bright Stars is one of the clubs that gives the Kasasiro Boys hard time and it won’t be a walk in that park at Kavumba.

The defending champions and SC Villa tormentors, BUL FC have been handed an away tie to an on form FUFA Big league side Police FC while Vipers will be hosting another big league club, Calvary FC.

Express FC will also be on road to upcountry in Adjumani visiting Adjumani Town Council Football Club who eliminated Bunyaruguru United in the round of 16 tie.

These ties will be one-legged and will be played between 10th and 14th April.

At this round, there will be an extra time of not more than 15 minutes each half shall be played to determine the winner if the teams are still tied by goals at the end of the 90 minutes.

If the teams remain tied after extra time, we will have spot kicks to determine the winner.
