Smoke Weed, Forget Professional Boxing, Bogere Warns Boxers

The Ugandan boxer based in United States of America, Sharif Bogere warned upcoming boxers with aim of becoming professionals to fore go the use of unhealthy substances.

 Bogere who is from Mayweather camp put much emphasis on the use of weed, asserting that, boxing still facing the habit and it kills a lot of upcoming talents especially from the ghetto.

Bogere who is on his Holiday was in the audience at UMA at the finals of the 2023 Uganda Boxing Federation Champions League held on boxing day. 

Bogere also hailed Muhangi’s generation for having proper and organized events and for developing the sport.

“It is an opportunity for Boxers who are coming up to have good competitions, I wish if I embraced boxing at this Generation” says Bogere.

“The only challenge with them (boxers) is discipline, they will have a great boxing career if they mind about their Characters, you can’t have a great career if you don’t leave weeds and alcohol.”

Uganda Boxing Champions league was introduced and its getting into third edition.
