Schools Sports: Revenge Time As Latifah Mixed Takes on Dynamic SS In Mukono Super Cup

Mukono District Secondary Schools Sports Association Super Cup: 

Latifah Mixed Secondary School Vs Dynamic Secondary School

Dynamic Secondary School will be seeking revenge against Latifah Mixed Secondary School when the two sides face off in the maiden Mukono District Secondary Schools Sports Association Super Cup on Sunday 18th, February 2024 at Nakanyonyi Secondary School, Kalagi.

During the Mukono District Secondary Schools Sports Association annual general meeting held on Saturday 17th, February 2024, at Seeta High School Mbalala Campus, it was officially confirmed that the maiden Super Cup will be played on Sunday 18th, February at Nakanyonyi SS and it will be a battle between Kabimbiri based side, Latifah Mixed Secondary School and Sonde based school in Dynamic Secondary School.

It was heartbreaking on the side of Dynamic Secondary School who lost to Latifah Mixed Secondary Schools by 1-0 score line in the maiden Mukono District Super Eight last year.

According to Steven Kitooke, the chairperson of Mukono District Secondary Schools Sports Association, this Super Cup was initiated to create competition among top performing schools as they gear up for the new season.

“We observed poor performance at national level which is a result of late organisation and so we thought it wise to create this pre tournament so as our teams can start early preps ahead of the busy season of Schools competitions”. Stated, Steven Kitooke during the annual general meeting.

For starters, Mukono Super Cup is played between defending champions of District Boys Football and the winners of Mukono Super Eight. 

Here, Super Eight is played between the eight best performers who face off in a two legged encounter from quarter finals where winners advance to semi finals and the overall winner face off with the defending champions in the Super Cup.
