Pilsner Monthly Awards: Finally Vipers’ Duo Tastes the Sweetness of the King’s Beer Money
Vipers’ Duo of tactician Roberto Oliveira and his goal poacher Ceaser Loki Manzoki crowned the winners of the coach and player of the month of December respectively.
On three attempts, from October, the Brazilian tactician has been reaching on podium but beaten on final round, but this December, the Venom coach had the better statistics compared to his opponents on the third attempt, he managed to win the gong of the best coach with a cash prize of one million shillings courtesy of Pilsner Lager.
To win, Oliveira beat his counterparts in Express FC head coach, Wasswa Bbosa and BUL’s Alex Isabirye Musongola.
In the month of December, Vipers managed to register five wins and a draw in the six fixtures they played.
The Congolese national, reached podium twice in his spell at Kitende, the first came in October but beat by KCCA FC forward, Davis Kasirye but his return in December made him to beat his competitors in Nsimbe Ibrahim and Juma Balinya of Uganda Police FC.
The goal poacher scored five goals and made three assists in six games he played in December and he also won the one million shillings cash prize.
The awarding ceremony took place today at Kati Kati Restaurant Lugogo.
