Kayunga: ‘Omugenzi’ Jemba to Finish His ‘Manson’ By All Means, Receives More Support from Kiwanuka Sulaiman
The burial announcement reader from Mbulakati Kyerima Bbaale Constituency in Kayunga District, Godfrey Jjemba Matte turned a celebrity for his picture going viral on social media especially last year, he continued to receive support from different individuals.
It started with a campaign on Twitter where Uganda Sports Press Association president Patrick ‘District’ Kanyomozi asked the Twitter user to donate different items to Matte also to love a happy life.
A number of people and companies from then started visiting Godfrey Jjemba’s home in Mbulakati Kyerima village watering him with items including phones, cash and other items.
Then later, the public realized that Matte has unfinished house and started bringing him building materials, among those is the area MP, Hon. Charles Tebandeke.
The philanthropist Kiwanuka Sulaiman, the Aspiring Member of Parliament for Nakifuma County come 2026, joined those rest of the world to support Godfrey Jjemba Matte with 20 bags of Cement, education materials for his grandchildren and brown evelop to help in the day today life.
“This man is so determined, he is passionate for his job, the love for his job made him known in the whole world, actually his determination driven me to come and add on what others have been doing.” Kiwanuka Sulaiman said yesterday.
” I am going to buy him the mobile public system such that he continue with his work. I advise youths not to lose hope, to love whatever they are doing, with Passion for his work, this man is known, but you may find a youth of 35 years already lost hope.” Kiwanuka advised the Youths.
Matte who now days receives visitors at his home thanks Kiwanuka for joining other good people who have been giving him support he has never demanded before. Jjemba said that he will not be moved to leave his work because of many gifts coming to him, he asserted that he is to continue serving his village.
“Nothing much I have to say, only to say that thank you Mr. Kiwanuka Sulaiman and others who gave me support. You found me doing my work and I am not ready to quit it because I am here to passionately serve my area. ” Said Godfrey Jjemba Matte.
