Netball: Ngando SS Pockets 7M from Youngster, SMASK Roars ahead of Ball Games II

St Mary’s Boarding Secondary School Kitende writes history in schools netball when they signed a younger netball player, a student from Ngando SS at a tune of seven million, Uganda shillings. 

With schools busy getting ready for USSSA Ball games II qualifiers, the Butambala based school, Ngando SS has got a boost in their camp after pocketing seven million shillings via compensation fee from St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende.

It was a deal that have overcome the 5 months split between Netball giant schools over young sharp shooter Diraaya Nabbowa crossing from Ngando to Kitende. 

The senior three student joined Kitende from Ngando camp early this year without the knowledge of the School adminststion but later on, the two managements sat on thr round table and settled the matter with Kitende taking the player and Ngando got the compensation of seven Millions (7,000,000/=).

At Kitende, Nabbowa will be under the guidance of her former coach, Noordine Kato.

Nabbowa has been at Ngando since her form one developing into better player in school’s netball game to see an activation of transfer guiding her crossing to schools sports giant Kitende.
