Masaza Cup2020: General Stats After Matchday Two, Goals Still Scarce

The 2020 Scientific Masaza Cup tourney underway at FUFA Technical Centre- Njeru in Kabaka’s County Kyaggwe and yesterday ended match day two of Butikkiro group.
Four games are so far played since Tue tourney kicked off on Saturday 12th December 2020.
This website has come out to throw light into the first four games, with its statistics.
We haven’t seen any abnormal game so far of the four games none has registered more than three goals.
Only two that have three goals, the 3-0 win for Mawogola Saza against Ssingo and the 2-1 victory for Butambala against Buluuli.

According to the current table standing of Butikkiro group, Butambala is on the top of the table with four points out of two fixtures.
None of the teams has a perfect run in the group, it’s only Mawogola has a chance to set that record first in this year’s editon,that is they win their next game which is on Thursday, 17, 2020 when they will be hosting Buluuli.
So far nine goals were scored and four of them come from two players, that is Mutebi Alex, of Mawogola the first player to score a brace in this editon and Buluuli’s Tenywa Henry.
At least each of the five teams in the group has scored a goal, we haven’t seen any goalless draw.
But only two wins are recorded so far.
The games resumes on Thursday 17th December after Wednesday rest, and on the day there will be two much anticipated fixtures when Ssingo and Bulemeezi are locking horns at afternoon before Mawogola and Buluuli come in for last fixture.
The top two teams shall qualify to quarterfinals.
