Masaza Cup Final: Kiwanuka Sulaiman Buys Tickets Worth 2M, Stakes Each Goal at $100
On Tuesday, 1, March 2022, the 2021 Masaza Cup Final tickets officially hit market and sports lover and businessman Kiwanuka Sulaiman became the first individual to buy tickets for his people.
Kiwanuka Sulaiman who stood tall and financially supported Kyaggwe Sazza through buying every goal they scored untill they lost it a quarter finals, today he has been the first individual to buy tickets in bulk for his people in Nakifuma County.
The former Spartans FC boss bought 100 tickets worth two million shillings and he officially received them from the Buganda Kingdom Sports Minister Owek. Henry Ssekabembe at Bulange Mengo on Tuesday morning.
“As a sportsperson and a Muganda, there is no way I can shy away from activities of the Buganda kingdom.
“You all know that Sports needs finances, I have worked with Kyaggwe where I injected over 1900 dollars during the period. And I have staked 100 dollars for every goal that will be scored on Saturday.” said Kiwanuka.
Each ticket is at 20,000/-(Ordinary) and 50,000/- VIP.
At the same event, the Minister confirmed that His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda Kingdom Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II will grace the final between Buddu and Buwekula which is to be held at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende on Saturday at 3PM.
Minister urged all fans to be disciplined and to respect the Ministry of Health SOPs on COVID-19.
On Saturday, there will be two matches, the third place game between Mawokota and Bulemeezi and the final between Buddu and Buwekula.
Gomba are the defending champions.
