Kids of Africa Run: 13th Edition Launched,Miss Uganda, Katabi Mayor Call for Massive Turnup

In third world countries like Uganda, Human basics especially to a girl child is a tag of war and when it comes to pearl of Africa, it’s worse. Basing on such information, 13 years back, Kids of Africa Organisation started a run to support the needy communities.
And the 13th edition that is set to be held on Sunday 7th September 2025 has been launched today [Thursday] at Shelton Hotel Kampala.This year’s theme: “Sanitation for the Girl Child”.

Kids of Africa director Tage Budolfsen, some of the children at the center, staff, Mayor Katabi Town Council His Worship Ronald Kalema Basamulekere, Miss Uganda (2024-2025) Natasha Nyonyozi, event partners and media personalities graced this launch held at the hotel pool side.
Just like last year, the theme of the run this time round will hinge around the sanitation of the girl child in particular good menstrual health.

“We are excited to return this year with the 13th Kids of Africa run that will be held on 7th September 2025. Preparations are all underway to have a tranquil event. We thank all the partners that have joined us to see a successful event. We urge the public to come and run for this noble cause” Tage Budolfsen, Director Kids of Africa.

expressed gratitude with the organizing team.
“I want to thank the local organizing committee for the Kids of Africa run that has helped raise funds towards the improvement of the welfare for girl child” Kalema, who has been supportive since inception remarked.
Miss Uganda (2024-2025) Natasha Nyononzi has joined the rest to amplify the message for the girl child.

“I am excited to be part of the Kids of Africa Run 2025 where the key objective is to help the menstrual health of the girl child. As the Miss Uganda, I am obliged to support such a worthy cause” Natasha Nyononzi, Miss Uganda.
