Kenya Golf: Nsubuga Wins Kiambu Open

Entering into the tournament for the first time Godfrey Nsubuga had a task to over loop defending Champion Michael Karanga for open. 

At the open which was full of Kenyan stars besides Nsubuga who travelled over 600 Kilometers spending 13 hours on road from Kampala, Busia, Kisumu to Nairobi where Kiambu Golf club was held. 

At the tournament which took place between 17th and 19th, November, Nsubuga managed to level par over the first two rounds before getting in lead on final round hitting 2 under (70) to gross his total of (214) on Kiambu Golf Course. 

“The tournament was a good exposure, I am happy I went days before the tournament, got chance to practice and it helped me a lot” says Mehta Golf club Nsubuga.

Karanga who has been in best form winning a good amounts of events.
He finished second on the leader board 1 under (215) to fellow behind Nsubuga he has been edging very notably at Windsor Classic golf challenge.
