Kayunga: Make a good Use of Gov’t Money, Ag. LCV Chair Commences Inspection Work On District Projects

The newly appointed acting Kayunga District LCV chairman, Joel Kayiira embarked on inspecting all the works taking part in his district.

The Late Ffeffeka Sserubogo Muhammad replacement started with the inspection of road constructions and see whether the government’s money is pout into proper use.

On Friday 9th,July 2021, LC5 Chairperson spent the day in traversing, to inspect the on going road construction in several parts of the district.

And the roads he tried to reach at, include the 10KM murram road of Kitwe,Bugoma-Balisanga and it’s almost 100% complete.

The Kyerima-Nongo 5km which is under construction,.

He also inspected the works on Kazzi, Bunyumya,Nsotoka,Namulanda 14.7km road. 

Other road construction in pipeline include;Kalaga,Nakilubi,Namakandwa 7Km.Kalaga,Marigita is also included on the list.

“I am so impressed by the work so far done by the district works department.
I urge all subcounty,district councillors in the areas of construction,to ensure that they are our eyes and ears on the ground as these activities are going on to obtain standard roads.” Joel Kayiira said.

According to a 27 years in power Lc1 Sande Kanyoto of Kaato-Bugoma who offered land to scoop murram that has been used in construction, applauded the district team led by Joel Kayiira for ensuring that these areas get better roads.

Kayiira who is also vying to take the office permanently in the forthcoming district by-election, said that the poor roads in the district will soon be history.
