USSSA NPP Jinja District Qualifiers: JIPRA, Jinja SS Off to Knockout Stage

JIPRA topped group H with maximum points while their counterparts Jinja SS finished top of group A of the USSSA National Post Primary Jinja District Qualifiers.
JIPRA and Wairaka Modern advanced to the knock out stage in group H after finishing first and second respectively in the matches held at MM college Wairaka on 16th March 2023 .
JIPRA collected maximum points (18) in six matches scoring 15 goals and conceding none while Wairaka Modern managed 11 points, winning 3, drawing two and losing one.
Honest Hill with 11 points came third, falling short of the qualification spot by just one point while Busede college finished 4th with 9 points. Mpumudde High school was 5th with 5 points while Buwenge college and Buwenge Modern who were tied at 3 points settled for 6th and 7th respectively.
In group H, Jinja SS topped with 16 points winning 5 and drawing 1, St John SS Wakitaka tied with Jinja college on 12 points and also on goal difference but the latter had a superior goals for granting them a slot in the knockout stage.
Good Heart came fourth with 10 points , Masese seed finished 5th with 5 points, Pilkington college Muguluka followed in 6th with 2 points while Busede seed finished bottom with just a single point in 6 matches.
Group A matches were held at Jinja college.
Action will continue today with group D and F at MM college Wairaka and Jinja SS respectively.
