‘Homos Have no Room in the Palace’, Kampala Queens Put their Top Scorer, Nanziri on Market
The FUFA Women’s Super league reigning champions, Kampala Queens Put their last season top scorer, Resty Nanziri on market.
In the early morning of Wednesday, 24th May 2023, via their official Twitter handle, Kampala Queens tweeted a press release alerting the international and local clubs that might be with interest in Resty Nanziri to come for negotiations.
However, before Hon. Moses Magogo owned side took action, their player in Resty Nanziri (scored 11 goals last season) appeared in the video that went viral on social media while kissing her fellow woman.
Their acts which appeared to be promoting lesbianism in the country put the club’s brand on the hook and they had to take immediate action.
For starters, the Right Honorable Speaker of Parliament of Uganda Annet Anita Among who also shares the ownership of the club, is among those on forefront of fighting Homosexuality in the country.
And in one of her speeches, the Speaker warned all those who practice and promote the vice in sports sector will not be given room.
I am against LGBT thou your headline is so tarnishing and demeaning, please at least for the interest of promoting young talents and soccer in our motherland, can we not make other countries see us like this? Please 🙏🙏
