FWSL: Kawempe Muslim Ladies ‘Baptized’ at MUBS Arena as She Corporate Move Top with a Clean Sheet
She Corporate continued to write a big statement that they are serious side this season when they comfortably beat 4-time Elite League Champions, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC by 2-0 at MUBS Arena at Nakawa on Sunday afternoon.
Their duo on striking line in Grace Nasongo and Favour Nambatya again appeared on the score sheet like they did it against Uganda Martyrs High School WFC in the opening fixture of the FUFA Women’s Super League season 2022.
The visitors in Kawempe Muslim Ladies became the first side to get a golden opportunity to score as early as one minute, Allen Nassazi head hit the pole to deny the Valley Warriors that lead.
From that surviving moment, the Sharks started to dominate the game and only on rare occasions Kawempe crossed to the other half of the pitch.

In the 89th minute, Kawempe Muslim got another big blow when Asia Nakibuuka limped off the pitch to be replaced by Shakira Nankwanga.
“I am very happy, actually too excited for this win, you Kawempe has been a threat to us, but I sat with my technical team and the players, I am happy that they followed the plan.” Yusuf ISSA Hassan told this website after the game.
She Corporate so far has two wins, four goals and two clean sheets but at certain moments, their backline in Margret Namirimu, Aminah Nakato, Miriam Ibunyu and Swabra Nkomba looked shaky but the tactician asserts that he has match confidence in his backline

“It has been a hard game, but we started very well but we lost the rthum when Nadunga got injury. Somehow the girls lost confidence but we made some mistakes especially in defense and we are going back to work upon that before our next game. ” Moses Nkata.
In their next game, Kawempe will be hosting Tooro Queens at the Valley while She Corporate will have a short trip to Kabaka Kyabaggu to play against wounded Rines SS.
In other match day fixtures, Olila High humbled helpless Rines SS by 5-0 while Tooro Queens and Kampala Queens shared spoils at Buhinga Stadium.
Currently,She Corporate sits on the top of the table with six points, followed by UCU Lady Cardinals also with six points in two games.
