FWEL Transfer: Wakiso Hill Confirms the Signing of Five New Players Ahead of New Season

With few weeks to the start of the new season of FUFA Women’s Elite League, Wakiso Hill WFC strengthened her squad with the signing of five youngsters.

Wakiso Hill WFC who displayed an amazing performance last season in the league/tournament held at FUFA Technical Center Njeru, what’s to get promoted to top flight league come next season.

The new signings include; Nansere Fashy, former Super Eagles Academy Kazo, Bright Stars Soccer Academy, Gaddafi Intergreted and Kampala Queens attacking Midfielder and the side believes that Fashy came with a varsity of experience.

Nanyonjo Jeridah a Seniors three student, captured for Gaddafi Intergrated, she is a striker is another new recruit.

Another recruit is Kasuubo Halimah a goalkeeper and a senior student, hailed from Trust Junior school Busembatya from Iganga district.

“This is my first time to play Women football at this level but I have a target of playing professional football out side Uganda and helping Wakiso Hill WFC to meet there expectations.” Said Kasuubo Halima.

Zahara Namuwonge is another Striker, a former Sumba Football Buddo(2016) and Isra Soccer Academy where she featured in 2018/19 season, the experienced girl is targeting the score 15 goals this season.

The fifth confirmed signing is Kiiza Yayeli a defender from Mityana.

Wakiso Hill WFC is one of the oldest clubs in Elite League since it’s inception in 2015.
