The group stage action in girls football has almost climaxed on Tuesday and the top two teams from each group have learnt the opponent to face at the round of sixteen.
The action for the round of sixteen commences tomorrow, Wednesday at four playgrounds.
No serious shock, the powerhouses in the game of women football have made it to the round of 16.
Defending champions and Teso reigning winners,Amus College again met their nemises, Bukedea Comprehensive, it’s expected to be a do or die encounter since both teams are coming from the same region and on top of that, they are neighbors in Bukedea district.
The two shall meet at Nandere playground at 10am.
The side that has scored the most goals at group level (28goals in five matches), St Noa Girls to face Bunya SS in the afternoon action slated at Ndejje University ground. The tournament top scorer, Sylvia Kabene who currently have 18 goals, needs to prove her worth at this level too.
Kawempe Muslim who topped group D will face off with the first runners of group C, Nyakasenyi SS at Ndejje University at 10am.
The following day on Thursday it will be quarter finals before semis on Friday and the final on Saturday.
