Fortebet Real Stars Monthly Awards: Lwakataka Beats Museveni’s Brother, Sodo ‘Pants Down’ on January Gong
The renown Motorsport driver Ponsiano Lwakataka was among the winners of the Fortebet Real Stars Monthly Awards for January, beating his rivals in the race,Aine Sodo Kaguta and and Fred Busulwa crew.
The veteran rally driver to reach on this glory, in the month of January he won the Mbarara NRC rally with his Subaru Impreza, finishing with the race record time of 1:32:35.
While receiving the accolade on behalf of her husband, at the awards ceremony held on Tuesday 02, February 2022 at Route256 Restaurant Lugogo, Mrs Rose Lwakataka and a team she moved with, couldn’t hide the happiness.
“I am very happy more than what you see on my face” Says Rose Lwakataka upon receiving her husband’s accolade.
Rose, a former driver, revealed the secret behind Lwakataka’s good performance after over seven months of no show.
“I know what the rally means, so like a lady, I try my best not to annoy him, even if we have challenges, I wait until the rally ends and then return to solve our disputes, I always support him, even when am not on ground I wish him the best, generally I don’t stress him.”
In the football world, the loanee from KCCA FC the Wakiso Giants, Moses Aliro displayed a wonderful performance in the month of January, scoring two important goals for Wakiso, against BUL FC in premier league and a winner against Kiyinda Boys in Uganda Cup round of 64, defeated URA’s custodian, Nafian Alionzi and Yasin Sibira, a Gadaffi FC midfielder.
Innocent Gwokto a brother to Phillip Wokowach was a star player for Heathens performance in the month of January, and this forced the Awards organizers to hand over the rugby gong to him beating Ivan Magomu of Black Pirates and Michael Wokorach.
Mukasa Isaac, the Agency’s CEO asserted that they are to add more ingredients since their target this year is to cover the whole East African region.
