Irene Nakalembe went to Nigeria to win the Ladies Golf open with a gross of 236.
Back home, Nakalembe, a member of Entebbe Golf Club, clinched the Uganda Ladies Golf open after seven years of forcing to happen.
Martha Babirye: She came into the Uganda Golf Ladies Open as the defending champion before falling short to finish third with a gross of 232.
Peace Kabasweka: Finished the Uganda Golf Ladies Open at fourth in order with a gross of 243.
Athletics:
Jacob Kiplimo – Lisbon Half Marathon, World Record at 57.31 seconds .
Victor Kiplangat – Winner Istabul Marathon, 2:10:18.
Immaculate Chemutai – Finished third at Abu Dhabi Marathon 2:28:30
Football:
Fauzia Najjemba – U20 Women Football National Team captain was the U20 CECAFA women top scorer with 11 goals.
Titus Ssematimba – Midfielder – Wakiso Giants FC, four goals in three matches.
Daphine Nyayenga – Goalkeeper – U20 Women Football National Team, conceded four goals from six games.
Uganda Para Badminton International
Hassan Mubiru – Quarter-final finish SL4 Category,
Elizabeth Rukundo – Semi-final finish to win Bronze, Wheelchair 1 Category.
Harriet Nakayima – Semi-final finish to win Bronze, SL4 Category
Cricket:
Dinesh Nakran – Two man of the match accolades, against Kenya and Nigeria,
From six games 6 games, 20 overs, with 116 runs, 4 wickets with an economy of 5.80.
Frank Nsubuga – Six 6 games, 24 overs, 102 runs, six 6 wickets with an economy of 4.25.
Riazat Ali Shah – Two man of the match accolades against Nigeria and Kenya,

Woodball:
Florence Mukoya Stroke competition won the women singles in the stroke competition at the Africa Woodball Championship in Nairobi. Her 158 strokes were instrumental in lifting Team Uganda to Women gold. Joan Mukoova scored 162 Chtistine Birungi 172 strokes. She went on to pair with Ronald Mulindwa in the mixed doubles to win another gold medal.
Thomas Keddi
Keddi formed the cornerstone of the men’s side powering to the fairway singles gold after the men’s team played second best to Kenya in the stroke competition.
He beat Kenyan Philemon Ahami 5-3 in the final for gold.
In the men’s mixed competition, he won bronze after pairing with Israel Muwanguzi.
The third nomination is women team captain Joan Mukoova who beat Kenyan opponent Louise Mungai 5-4 to win gold in the fairway competition. She was silver medallist in the women doubles.
The tournament, which was the second edition, was held at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) from November 3-8.
Netball:
Stella Oyella, was the best shooter in pent Series held in Namibia before the Africa Netball Championship to which she also displayed a wonderful performance.
Shaffie Nalwanja, one of the best defenders she Cranes has so far, her partnership with senior defender Lillian Ajio and Joan Nampungu made Uganda a hard nut to crack.
Ruth Meeme: she was a pivot in Uganda’s midfield.
The best of the best will from every discipline will walk away with an accolade and cash prize.
