Finance Trust Women Super League: Brilliant Nakasi, Poor Corporate, Struggling Asubo as Kawempe takes the Summit Charge after Week Six

Thirteen goals lit up Matchday 6 of the Finance Trust Women Super League as Kawempe Muslim Ladies ascended to the summit of the table with a statement win over She Corporates on Saturday, 9th November 2025.
At the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, Kawempe Muslim Ladies underlined their title intentions with a commanding 2–0 victory over She Corporates. The ever-sharp Latifa Nakasi was the difference-maker, scoring twice in the first half to seal the points. Her brace not only guided Kawempe to the top of the standings with 13 points but also took her personal tally to four goals, just two behind the league’s top scorer Kamiyat Naigaga.
Defending champions Kampala Queens also maintained their pursuit of the leaders after a narrow 1–0 win over St. Noa at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku. Catherine Nagadya struck in the first half to hand the champions their fourth victory of the campaign, keeping them in second place with 11 points, two adrift of Kawempe.
Elsewhere, Amus College continued their steady climb up the table, beating Lady Doves 2–0 in Bukedea. Goals from Shylina Opisa and Dorine Aijuat earned the hosts their second win of the season, lifting them to nine points and into fourth place.
At Luzira Prisons Grounds, She Maroons edged Makerere University Ladies 2–1 in a thrilling encounter. Lilian Kasuubo and Kizza Immaculate found the net for the home side, while Makerere’s late goal proved to be merely a consolation. The win propelled She Maroons into fifth place.
In Lubaga, Rines SS finally tasted victory this season, stunning Uganda Martyrs Ladies 1–0 courtesy of Jazmine Nalukwago’s second-half strike. The much-needed win moved Rines to sixth place with seven points, easing early-season pressure.
The weekend’s action wrapped up at Kampala Quality Grounds, where Asubo Ladies let slip a two-goal advantage to draw 2–2 with Olila High School. Mercy Nimusiima and Bint Ibrahim had put Asubo in control, but Lotyanga Mary’s impressive brace salvaged a point for Olila in dramatic fashion.
With the first third of the season gone, Kawempe Muslim have once again demonstrated their pedigree and consistency. Their balance of solid defense, quick transitions, and Nakasi’s sharp finishing has made them the team to beat as the race for the 2025/26 title intensifies.
