Kampala Queens forward Kamiyat Naigaga has been crowned the Finance Trust Bank Women Super League Player of the Month for October, after a series of dazzling performances that reaffirmed her status as one of the league’s most lethal attackers.

Naigaga has been the driving force behind Kampala Queens’ strong run, displaying exceptional sharpness in front of goal and consistency that has kept the defending champions firmly in the title race.

Her ability to convert chances and inspire her teammates has been pivotal, earning her deserved recognition as October’s standout player. She scored five goals in four matches which makes her the current league’s top scorer.

“It feels great to be recognized. I’ve worked hard this season, but it’s also a team effort, everyone at Kampala Queens plays a part,” Naigaga said after receiving her award.

Meanwhile, She Corporate FC head coach Ininahazwe Belyse walked away with the Coach of the Month accolade, following an outstanding run that has seen her side dominate the table. Under her guidance, She Corporate have remained unbeaten, collecting 13 points and scoring eight goals — the highest tally so far this season.

Ininahazwe’s tactical discipline and attacking flair have transformed She Corporate into one of the most exciting teams to watch, positioning them above both defending champions Kampala Queens and perennial contenders Kawempe Muslim Ladies.

The monthly awards, sponsored by Finance Trust Bank, are designed to celebrate excellence and consistency in the FUFA Women Super League, highlighting the growing depth, competitiveness, and professionalism in Ugandan women’s football.

Naigaga’s and Ininahazwe’s recognition reflects a season where both individual brilliance and tactical mastery are shaping an increasingly thrilling title contest.
