Black Stars FC Pioneers of FUFA/MoH Vaccination Campaign

Early this week, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) issued a circular demanding it’s stakeholders, Officials, Delegates and Clubs to go for COVID-19 vaccination ahead of the full resumption of football activities in the country.

Black Stars Football Club, the Kampala regional league side comes the first club to respond to FUFA’s demand to vaccinate it’s officials and players.

The other club that has responded to the circular is Kyadondo

FUFA advised all football stakeholders to get vaccinated and the program is a targetting about 30,000 beneficiaries which includes Footballers, club officials, executive, standing committees members, Judicial bodies members, Delegates and Secretariats at all level.

The program which went open immediately after the issuing of the Circular had to wait for about three days until Black Stars compliance.
The lower division club was followed by Kyadondo United a fourth division Club.

It’s a country wide FUFA program which is supported by the Ministry of Healthy and National Council of Sports.

This program came to ease the process for stakeholders in football.
