Bika Football: Kayiwa, Ssekamatte on Brace as Kkobe Humbles Ente
On their pursue to secure a slot at quarters of this year’s edition, Kkobe found no hurdle to humble winless Ente on Wednesday at Kawanda SS playground.
Allan Kayiwa and Ssekamatte Samuel both scored a brace as Kkobe comfortably beat Nte 4-1 at Kawanda.
Kkobe who moved to seven points with a game to wind down the group stages, through Allan Kayiwa got a lead in the 40th minute, five minutes later, Ssekamatte Samuel doubled the lead before halftime break.
Five minutes into second stanza Kayiwa completed his brace with an empty net strike after destroying the whole Nte defence.
Off from the bench, Kalisa Joshua got the only consolation for Ente before Ssekamatte Samuel came to complete his brace in the 62nd minute.
Kkobe moved to second position and need only a point against Mbogo in their last group C fixture scheduled for Monday 24th at Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku.
Earlier at the same venue (Kawanda SS playground), Ngoonge and Ngabi Nsamba shared points like they did in the first leg with a one all draw. Ssekiganda Ronald goal for Ngoonge was cancelled by Alex Kitata powerful strike that came in the second stanza.
From other grounds, Ffumbe went riot against Musu after a 4-1 victory and they (Ffumbe) maintained the leadership of group D with eight points, Ngonge and Ngabi Nsamba are tied on six points while Musu is bottom placed with ⁷five points.
Omutima Omusagi defeated Kinyomo 1-0 courtesy of Shakib Mayanja’s goal while Mbogo and Omutima Omusagi played to a one all draw.
Lugave lost 3-2 to Nsenene in a five goal thriller, George Masembe was on target twice for Nsenene and Robert Sewanyana scored the third for Nsenene.
Lugave’s goals came through Aslam Ssemakula and Brian Nkuubi.
Ngo managed to a 2-0 victory against Nvuma thanks to Steven Sebuufu and Joseph Ssemujju the goal scorers.
Omutima Omuyanja, Ngeye and Omutima Omusagi are the only teams that have qualified for the quarter finals.
