Before the second leg of the 2022 semifinal two at Wankulukuku, it was all in hands of Ffumbe to make it to the final of Bika Tournament like they did it in 2009, however, the final whistle gave tears to the Bazukuulu Ba Walusimbi.

For starters, the first leg was won by Ffumbe 3-2 at Wankulukuku on Monday this week thinking that they will complete a double against Ndiga but single handedly, Dan Sserunkuuma buried Ffumbe’s pride with a first half hat trick.

The incredible Ndiga made it to the final of the 2022 Bika Bya Baganda tourney. In the first leg, Ndiga lost 3-2 against Ffumbe, but in the return leg, Mzee Dan Sserunkuma, a Vipers SC player, scored a hat trick leading to a 3-0 win in favour of Ndiga, and hence advancing 5-3 on aggregate, and hence knocking out Ffumbe.

Karim Ndugwa managed to score four (4) goals in the semifinals of the Bika Tournament, helping Lugave get through to the final.

The first leg, which was played on Monday 15th, August 2023, ended 2-0 in favour of Lugave, with Ndugwa netting a brace, and in today’s (Thursday 18th, August 2022) game which ended in a 2-2 draw, Ndugwa also scored a brace, with Allan Kayiwa and Ssekamate Sam appearing on the scoresheet for Kkobe.

On the other hand, Ndiga will be Lugave’s opponents in the finals, fourteen (14) years since the 2008 final where they lost 1-0 against Kobe.

Now it’s His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda to decide when the final and where will be held.
