Bika By’Abaganda Football Group Stage Draws Held

The round of 32 action climaxed on Wednesday with some shocking results, with the defending champions, Ndiga were eliminated by Ngabi Nsamba following a 3-2 score line.

Sula Matovu Maluda was on score sheet thrice on the day.

While at Bulange Mengo on Thursday, the Bika By’Abaganda Football tournament committee held the draws and the sixteen teams, today learnt their opponents.

The draws were held before the sight Hajji Sulaiman Magala who applauded the works of media in BIKA tournament and honouring the late Stuart Mutebi.

The teams have been ranked according to last year’s performances with the top ranked teams leading the four group stages respectively.

With the defending champions Ndiga failing to qualify past the round of 32, 2022 runners up Lugave seeded top and leading group A with the third placed Ffumbe leading group B while Kkobe who lost the third place playoff topping group C.

Fifth placed Ngeye leads group c.

The BIKA Netball tournament will also throw off on Saturday 17th June at St Lawrence University with the first round.
