Big League: “Booma to be in Topflight Next Season”, Twinamatsiko Very Optimistic

Currently it’s only Kitara FC that’s representing Kitara region on the Uganda Premier League and they have massive support from the region and it’s games are the most watched in the league so far.

Booma FC is another prominent club I’m the region but for so long they have failed to make it to Topflight but their tactician, Mark Twinamatsiko who was once at Kitara before he was sacked and replaced by Sam Ssimbwa who later promoted the team to UPL, he is optimistic that this is the season the team will be elevated to super.

Twinamatsiko believes that Bunyoro-Kitara is a big region, Kitara FC alone can not satisfy it.

“The administration has played it’s part, the ounce of course remains in the hands of the players to collect points in every game we play so that we finish on the top three this season.” Twinamatsiko told this website.

“I am not saying that it’s only players but it’s a collective responsibility to whoever on the team to see that we qualify to premier league, Bunyoro-Kitara is a big region with big population that can’t be satisfied with one team.” Former Kitara FC tactician added.

To qualify, Booma Football Club asserts that they need a budget minimum of 500 millions to run the club towards the end of the season.

Booma drew two games consecutive, against Jinja North and Karo Karungi in their opening fixtures and their next fixture will be on road visiting wounded Ndejje University.
