Beach Soccer Spread Wings, UBSA Acquires Land in Kitara Region
Beach soccer as one of the newbies in Uganda football sector, its trying to spread wings in different parts of the country, started in central now heading to different regions.
On Thursday, this week, the Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) acquired one acre of land in Kitara Region in Buliisa District.
This land was acquired specifically from Kisansya Primary School in Buliisa Town Council – Buliisa District 290 km from Uganda’s Capital Kampala.
Uganda Beach Soccer Chairman, Deo Mutabazi graced the inspection of the site at Kisansya Primary School in Buliisa town council during a well- attended event also graced by Mayor Buliisa Town Council, Muliisa Epafurah.

Deo Mutabazi, says it is a great moment to Beach Soccer fraternity in Uganda.
“This shows that their is a great improvement of the game and a healthy relationship with all football stakeholders in Uganda.
I thank Kitara Region for bearing a vision to have Beach soccer on region level as it is in FUFA president’ manifesto in the new term of office.” Mutabaazi noted.
Other UBSA officials in attendance were Ali Mwebe (FUFA Football Director) Bashir Mutyaba (UBSA technical Director), Tonny Ssebagala ( UBSA Protocol/Events Manager) Mutebi Julius (UBSA Communication/Marketing Director).

“I am great full that this project is here.We shall offer the necessary support to this project and make it a reality” Muliisa noted.

“There many opportunities that come along with sports and football ball in particular”.Muliisa added
Speaking at the same function ,the Hoima sports officer , Thanked UBSA for all their effort to spread the game of Beach Soccer.
