Kampala, Uganda – For over ten years, Nsubuga Mustapha has been more than just an administrator; he has been a tireless servant of sports. His story is not about seeking titles but about creating platforms where athletes can thrive, coaches can grow, and institutions can shine. Now, he is offering his experience and passion to the Association of Uganda University Sports (AUUS) as he seeks the position of Vice President Technical.
A graduate in Sports Science from Makerere University, Nsubuga has steadily built a career anchored on discipline, knowledge, and service. At Mountains of the Moon University (MMU), where he serves as Senior Sports Officer, he has nurtured talent and developed systems that outlive individuals. His leadership of the National Sports Officers Association (NASOA) further reflects his devotion to uniting and uplifting sports practitioners across the country.
“Sports has always been my calling. I’ve never looked at it as privilege, but as a responsibility to give young people the stage to shine,” says Nsubuga.
In this position, Nsubuga is battling another experienced administrator from UCU, Samuel David Lukaire.
