USSSA NPP Games: St Pontiano Ngondwe Share Spoils With St Francis Ayume To Register 3rd Consecutive Draw

St Pontiano Ngondwe SS Kangulumira 1-1 St Francis Ayume

St Pontiano Ngondwe Secondary School registered her 3^rd consecutive draw in the ongoing National Post Primaries Boys Football on Friday 22^nd April 2022 morning in a game played at Eruba playground in Arua city.

Like they (St Pontiano Ngondwe) did in the first two (2) games, coming from a goal down, Ngondwe needed a second a penalty converted by center back, Ronald Kigoye to level spirited St Francis Ayume from Koboko District.

The Kangulumira based side played to a one all draws to Mbale Progressive Academy in their opening game at Arua Public playground before settling for another a draw against Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga on the same score line (1-1) on Thursday 21^st April at NTC Muni Playground.

St Pontiano Ngondwe Vs JIPRA will be on Saturday 23^rd April 2022 take on Jinja Progressive Academy, on Sunday 24^th, April 2022 battle Teso College Aloet at Arua Public before playing Nyamitanga SS on Monday 25^th April 2022 at Barifa Stadium and St Jude SS on Tuesday 26^th April.

Elsewhere, Uganda Martyrs High School defeated Teso College Aloet by 1-0 score line, Mbale Progressive earned their 2^nd win which came against Nyamitanga SS by 3-2 while Jinja Progressive Academy and St Jude SS played to a barren draw.

In Group H, Busoga champions, Jinja SS and Kampala champions, Kawempe Muslim won their games against Bugisu champions, Sironko Parents and Kabwohe SS by 2-0 and 3-1 respectively.

In other group (H) games, Luweero champions, Janan played to a two all draw (2-2) with St John Bosco SS while Numasa and Boston High School shared spoils in a barren draw.

St Mary`s SS Kitende thrashed helpless Bugangari SS by 7-0 score line at NTC Muni Playground. Najib Yiga registered a brace on his name, Torach Rogers Ochaki, Charles Lwanga, Elvis Ngondwe, Brian Olega and Fazir Tumwine all scored a goal on their names.

In the same group (A), Dynamic SS handed stubborn Ikiki SS to their first defeat of the championship putting them to a 2-1 defeat, Buremba SS defeated Lake Side SS Masese by 1-0 while Mpigi Mixed defeated Nile High Odia by 2-1 before playing to a barren draw in the evening.

Uganda Martyrs Nkyondo has withdrawn from the championship.
