News spreading like wild fire in Kayunga town indicates that National Unity Platform Flag bearer on Kayunga District Woman MP seat is double dealing with NRM district chairman, Moses Kalangwa.

According to reports, Karangwa decided to support Harriet Nakwedde on the seat since his daughter Jackline Birungi failed to beat Agatha Nalubwama in NRM primaries to get the party ticket. And Birungi coming as an independent, she might not win the six ladies in race because she is not strong on ground.

The Kayunga electorates started alleging that these days the former FDC diehard, Harriet Nakwedde Kafeero  is secretly dealing with Karangwa to kick out Incumbent Aidah Erios Nantaba out and the reports also indicate that it’s Karangwa who is facilitating Nakwedde’s campaigns.

The information that is circulating indicates that Nakwedde is dealing with Karangwa, he brought His daughter as a decoy and there is a video clip circulating showing Karangwa giving Nakwedde cash.” The source told this website.

Now the electorates started getting that information, and started changing their minds to leave Nakwedde, because most of them are not in good terms with Karangwa.” He added.

When this website reached at Nakwedde, the lady who stood for that seat on two occasions but failing to unseat Nantaba, she said that, it’s propaganda from her opponents especially the Incumbent but as far as she knows, she’s  on top of the table and this time round victory is in her hands.

That’s propaganda from Nantaba” Nakwedde said before adding. “You can not deal with Kalangwa and use Magere resources like my campaigns are. Only wanted to give you a sample evidence.2. Kalangwa’ wouldn’t bring a candidate if I was his candidate.” Furious Nakwedde distancing herself from allegations.

And when God is on your side no propaganda stands your way,the people that hear the propaganda are the very people who stand to defend you.”

Nakwedde admits that she lost twice but now she is more on ground than before and she is topping the race.

We are moving forward. No obstacles so far despite the financial constraints and to be sincere we are on top of the table.

I am on the ground, I have lost twice but also won in 2016. I have both experiences. I can now tell when you have ground and when you don’t have.”

The Kayunga District Woman MP race is among the Incumbent, Aidah Erios Nantaba, Harriet Nakwedde, DP’s Wabuza Lydia, Agatha Nalubwama of NRM and Nakaddu Brendah of FDC.
