Kayunga: Councilors Retain Bulinson as District Council Speaker, New Executive Arm Elected

After the swearing in ceremony of the local government political leaders in Kayunga District on Thursday this week, the Councilors elected the new District Council Executive. 

For starters, Hon. Ffeffeka Sserubogo Muhammad is the chairman LC V and he sworn in on Thursday.

After the swearing in Ceremony the District Councilors attended their first Council meeting where they Elected Bulinson Salleh, Councilor from Busaana Sub County as the District Speaker.

Bulinson Salleh retained the position to which he served in the former Council.

The councilors elected Nakimera Babirye as the Deputy Speaker while Mugaba Ronald will be the Secretary Education.

Ms.Najjemba Aliya, Secretary Gender and Health,Luutu Muhammad Secretary for Finance,Planning and Administration.

After failing to enact Najjemba as his Vice Chairperson due to lack of enough academic papers qualifying her for that position, the Councilors influenced the election of Kayiira Joel, Councilor from Bbaale Constituency as the vice chair as well as Secretary for Production.
