Rays of Grace Celebrates 10th Founding Anniversary
On Saturday 27th September 2025, the Rays of Grace institution that comprises of a Junior School and the Sports Academy celebrated the 10th anniversary at the school campus located at Kirugu Village, Njeru Municipality of Buikwe District
The historical celebration began with a holy mass led by Reverend Father Kiibi Deogratius Kateregga in remembrance of the institution’s rich history and in blessing of the future to come.
The speaker of the parliament of Uganda, who is also the proprietor of Bukedea Comprehensive School Rt Hon. Anita Annet Among was the chief guest, and on the event, she thanked the directors of the school for the huge investments made.
“I want to thank the directors of this school for the huge investments made and supporting the government and complementing what it does (government) in education and sports.”
“The investment made by the directors is an insurance that the future of the boys and girls from this school is preserved and it has been promoted. With this creative art, music, and sports, you can never go wrong because this nurturing their (children) future. “ She added
Talent development at Rays of Grace Junior School/Academy is testified as Simon Wanyama, who is currently on Uganda U17 was part and crucial as Bukedea Comprehensive School found by the speaker crowned champions of Federation of East Africa Schools Sports Associations.
Special guests included FUFA President, Hon. Moses Magogo Hassim, who doubles as the member of parliament for Budiope East, Area member of parliament Hon. Jimmy Lwanga, Buikwe District Woman MP Hon. Diana Mutasingwa Kagyenyi, guests from the Ministry of Education and Sports, United States of America, and the Netherlands.
In his remarks, the FUFA President stated, “I have identified Roberts Kiwanuka, the director for this institution to be in charge of youth football in this country and very proud of the products coming from here for his efforts”.
“Also, I want to inform the gathering here that I have identified Roberts as a key one of the key stakeholders in the management of football and I am sure that the distance I have run as the FUFA President there are very many able leaders I have created who can carry the vision and the dream”. On the event, the speaker of the parliament of Uganda, Rt Hon. Anita Annet Among officially opened the music school and also launched the sports facility
