USSSA Kampala Region Qualifiers: Kakungulu, Kibuli Set a Meeting at Semis as Group Stage Action Climaxes

Tuesday action results: 

Kakungulu Memorial 9-0 Lakeside Luzira 
Uganda Martyrs High School 1-1 Kibuli SS 

Old Kampala SS 3-3 Kazi Hill 

Uganda Martyrs High School 1-1 Kazo Hill 

Kawempe Muslim SS 4-0 Lakeside Luzira 

The Kampala region qualifiers group action successfully climaxed on Tuesday at various grounds and the region confirmed it’s four representatives in the upcoming national championship in Masaka. 

After a while without show in the nationals, Kakungulu Memorial finally made it out of the group in the last day, the side thumped Bishop Ciprian 9-0 in the last group A game to seal their qualification in style. 

Since they finished second on the log with nine points, they will be facing their rivals, Kibuli SS who topped group B with eight points, they are meeting at the semifinal which will be held on Friday, 12, April, 2024 at Kibuli. 

For starters, Kibuli SS are the Kampala region defending champions.

Kawempe who got out of the group with maximum points (12) will play host, Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga on the same day. 

The better goal advantage helped Martyrs to propel to the semis beating Old Kampala SS who also had the same points (6). 

On the same date, even the Girls football will be climaxing and three teams will represent Kampala in girls football in the nationals that will be help at Ndejje SS Luweero district.
