UPL: Kasasiro Boys Spare No Armless Gaddafi, Humiliation at it’s Peak
KCCA FC have this evening humiliated Gaddafi FC under the floodlights of MTN-Omondi Stadium Lugogo.
Mohhamed Shabban, Usama Arafat both scored a brace while Ettiene Katenga and youngster Dominic Ayella added a goal each while Sharif Ssengendo scored the consolation as KCCA FC white wash Gaddafi 6-1 to register second win of the season.
At the start of the game, defender Etube failed to tap the ball in for the hosts from a well delivered cross with just 3-4 yards from the goal line.
Ashraf Mugume nearly scored from a freeckick but his powerful and well calculated shot was denied by the goalkeeper Andrew Ssekandi resulting into a corner.
In the 18th minute, Ettiene Katenga made a solo run and curled the ball past the goalkeeper to the far right corner to find the back of the net and put KCCA FC in the lead and registered his first goal of the season.
Muhammed Shaban doubled the lead with a superb header off Mutafah Kizza’s beautiful cross in the 23rd minute.
The goal poacher stretched the lead to 3-0, three minutes later. Shaban received Gui’s low cross inside the box, controlled and smashed it past the goalkeeper to find the back of the net to register his 6th league goal this season.
Usama Arafat extended the Kasasiro Boys ‘ lead with a powerful left foot shot at the 40tg minute Mark, Katenga’s shot was blocked and found well positioned Usama inside the box and scored from the rebound.
Before the break, it was raining goals as Usama Arafa scored the fifth goal in the added minutes with a tremendous volley inside the box to send the home fans wild.
In the second half, KCCA FC made many changes looking for more goals however, the visitors pulled one back through Sharif Ssengendo who faked Peter Magambo to go down on the floor and hit a powerful shot that left no chance for goalkeeper Emojong, goal came in the 62nd minute.
With only three minutes to the end of the game, youngster Dominic Ayella made it 6-1 with a simple tap in. Gaddafi lost the possesion inside the box and Saidi Mayanja shot hit the goal post and substitute Ayella scored from the rebound. This was Ayella’s second goal in his last two games.
The win only lifted KCCA FC to one place but remained in the relegation zone with 7 points collected from possible 27 this season.
This was the first win for new coach Abdallah Mubiru and the second win for KCCA FC this season.
In the next game, KCCA FC will visit Mbarara City in Kakyeka on 6th December while Gaddafi FC will host UPDF FC on the following day.
The matchday nine continues on tomorrow Saturday with two games as Kitara FC hosts NEC FC while Mbarara City visits Maroons FC in Luzira.
