FWSL 2023/24 Season: UCU Lady Cardinals Target Maximum Points Over Lady Doves
The 2023/24 FUFA Women Super League season will officially start on Saturday 14th October, 2023 with one game in the morning.
The 2020/21 league champions Lady Doves, will visit UCU Lady Cardinals at 10AM at UCU Sports Ground in Mukono in the league opener.
Last season when the two teams faced, it ended 1-1 in Masindi before they played to 2-2 all draw in Mukono.
UCU Lady Cardianls lost their last season’s top scorer Ashiat Nalugwa and striker Sharon Nadunga who left the club and joined Lindesy College in America.
Shadia Nankya will lead the team in today’s game with Sandra Kisakye the key player to lead the striking line to hunt for goals.
Lady Doves will mostly rely on forward Norah Alupo who was by far the club’s best performer last season.

“We lost some key players like Ashiat Naluggwa but we still believe in the squad we have, our target is to win every game and make sure we lift the trophy at the end of the season.” Said Magoba
