Bika Netball: Dates, Venue For Quarters Revealed

The 2022 Bika Netball tournament reach knockout stage, dates and the venue have been revealed to public.

According to the meeting held on Wednesday 03rd August 2022 at Bulange Mengo by the Bika organizing committee, it was confirmed that the quarter finals be held at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku on Monday 8th, August, 2022.

For starters, at least 27 clans confirmed participation but some pulled out along the way before the group stages climaxed over the weekend at St Lawrence University playground.

The eight qualified clans include; defending champions Nyonyi Nyange, Mmamba Namakaka, the former came as second positioned side with eight points while the latter topped group D with ten points.

Omutima Omusagi qualified from group A with four points and Ngeye came as the group leader with eight points.

Ngabi Nsamba, Mbogo came out of group B as the first and second respectively from group B, Lugave and Ente made it out of group C.

According to the ‘tree’, at quarter finals, Ngeye will host Nte as Ngabi Nsamba play against defending champions, Nyonyi Nyange.

Sarah Nakiyunga’s Lugave will face off with Shakirah Nassaka’s Omutima Omusagi as Mbogo visits Mmamba Namakaka.

The games throw off at 9am on Monday 8th August, 2022 at Wankulukuku.

Omutima Omusagi 44-28 Ndiga

Mbwa 30-00 Kasimba (Kasimba didn’t show up)
