Najib Yiga Scores Twice As St Mary’s Kitende Thump Bugangari SS
Friday Evening won’t be one that Bugangari Secondary School fans would want to remember. The perpetual underdogs were taken a part by a dominant St Mary’s Kitende squad in a dead rubber match.
Defending Champions, St Mary’s SS Kitende put Seven (7) goals past Kigezi Region Champions in Bugangari SS and two of the goals were scored by Vipers Sports club forward, Najib Yiga.
St Mary’s Kitende who went into the game with Five (5) points from three (3) games started the hunt for goals from the first wishtle to the final one.
Other goals came from Torach Rogers Ochaki, KCCA FC forward, Charles Lwanga Lwanga, Elvis Ngondwe, Brian Olega and Fazir Tumwine.
In the first three games, Kitende shared spoils with Ikiki Secondary School from Budaka in a one all (1-1), defeated Dynamic SS by 3-0 score line before drawing with Mpigi Mixed in another one all draw.
A win means Kitende maintains top of the table position with Eight (8) points from Four (4) games only goals separating them from second placed School, Buremba SS.
Edward Golola coached side returns in action on Saturday 23rd April taking Lake Side SS Masese with kick off at 3PM at Eruba Playground.
