2020 Masaza Cup: Muteesa Calls People From Mawogola To Financially Support The Team.
On Sunday 6th, December 2020 Management Committee of Mawogola Ssaza FC held Player Unveiling, Launch and Fundraising for the team a head 2020 Buganda Masaza Cup.
The ceremony was held at Ssembabule Parents Primary School Play grounds and later a friendly match played at Ssembabule R/C Play grounds.
Muteesa of Mawogola Salongo Muhammad Sserwadda the chief guest called for financial support from people of Mawogola and well wishers.
“Our Players are well prepared and we have hope that this time Mawogola have higher chances of winning the championship.”
“Mawogola was powerful in the olden days but due to unavoidable circumstances our team has been weakened but today after the ceremony (Launch) our players, Coaches and Management committee we really see signs of Victory.”
Our team is well arranged but my call to the People of Mawogola and Well wishers because the team need financial support.” Lauded Muteesa
On the ceremony Mawogola Ssaza FC Patron Shartsi Kuteesa Musherure Namatovu promised to help n developing Talents in Mawogola.
“This is just the beginning because we want to see that we develop talents in Mawogola.”
“We have trust in our team this time and our performance will be better than the usual one.” Added Namatovu.
Mawogola is in Butikkiro group alongside defending Champions Bulemeezi, former winners Ssingo and Buluuli with Butambala
Mawogola kick start her journey of winning their maiden tittle on Tuesday 15th, December against Ssingo at 4PM before taking on Buluuli on Thursday 17th (4PM), Butambala on Saturday 19th (1PM) and defending Champion Bulemeezi on Monday 21st.
Buganda Masaza Cup kicks off on Saturday 12th between Bulemeezi against Butambala at FUFA Technical Center Njeru (1PM)
Like the norm has been His Majesty Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II will grace the opening ceremony
